Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers large rooms and bathrooms that are very clean, although our room had only one tiny window; however, the stunning views compensated for that minor inconvenience. The staff was wonderful and helpful, especially in providing advice on popular landmarks and dining spots. The location was very convenient, being right beside a vaporetto stop and near the best Gelateria on the island. The dining experience, while serving a continental buffet, was good quality to energize for a day of exploring, but having to request a cappuccino made traditionally was below expectations. Overall, a great choice for a stay with stunning views and helpful service.
The hotel exuded 'Venetian opulence' with large and stunningly beautiful rooms, including a Jacuzzi, creating a truly amazing experience. The friendly service, especially from Barbara, added to the overall profession of hospitality ambiance. The location, right next to the Ca d'Oro Line 1 vaporetto stop, was excellent, offering easy access to main attractions and stunning views of the canal. Dining options, while satisfactory, required a visit to a nearby sister hotel for a better experience.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The larger suite I stayed in was tired and in need of modernizing, which was unexpected, but the service was top-notch, friendly, and checked us in with no problems. The location couldn't be better, perfect for sightseeing and very convenient to commute. However, the dining experience was not in the hotel and ended up being a bit of a hassle walking to another place for meals.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. However, being under the roof made the room quite warm despite the air conditioning units. The service was top-notch with hospitable and friendly staff taking care of everything. The location was perfect, right next to the Vaporetti stop, making it easy to explore. The dining experience was sufficient, but nothing exceptional. Overall, a great value for money with some minor improvements needed in certain areas.
My stay at the hotel was truly amazing. The room I stayed in was massive and just exceeded our expectations, although it was terribly humid. We had an amazing suite 101 with wonderful views overlooking the grand canal; we were constantly 'wow'd' by it. The room was excellent, spacious, spotlessly clean, and furnished to a very high standard.
The hotel exudes classic Venetian style and the rooms are a good size with incredibly comfortable king-size beds. The air conditioning was a much-needed relief from the hot weather, though there are areas that could be improved.
The hotel had a few maintenance issues in the room, but it was in a traditional Venetian style with a huge bed and much-needed air conditioning. The service was first-class despite some challenges, and the location was amazing, especially with a Grand Canal view. The dining experience was way above standard, and the facilities were in a nice area.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were luxurious with a lift bathroom and a balcony overlooking the garden, although they were a bit pricier than other places. The service was exceptional, arranging a dinner overlooking the canal and a sightseeing cruise. The location was perfect, right on the Grand Canal and close to all the attractions. The dining experience was a bit subpar, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent staff, but unfortunately, there were issues like spotty stains on the couch. The automatic air conditioning controlled by reception made the room too hot, and there were maintenance issues in the bathroom. However, the location was perfect, and the service was fantastic.
